New program, same goals

Since 2020 we have been convening participants under diverse content programs but our goals remain the same: how to combine the different perspectives of data scientists, healthcare professionals, patients and governance to find the much- needed consensus for the next generation of healthcare systems?

To accomplish our goal we have decided to focus this year summit’s theme on health data quality.

The aim of this next global hybrid summit in Porto is to demonstrate the importance of quality of healthcare data, how to measure data quality and how to improve it. Whether for primary use or secondary use, data quality is an universal requirement. It is the most important real world data challenges.

Data without quality can neither contribute value nor serve any useful purpose.

Recent memorabilia

As a remainder of our persistence, I have selected this video from the Portuguese presidency e-Health summit last year brilliantly organized by SPMS (the digital arm of the Ministery of Healthcare) with a video statement by the president of i~HD Dipak Karla that still remains so valid today.

In the panel: Prof Rajendra Gupta book author & founder of the Health Parliament and Digital Health AcademySilvia Piai Research Director at IDC and Dr Stefan Buttigieg Co-Founder Digital Health Malta.

Porto is waiting for you

The Portuguese tourism authorities have produced this great video so that you may feel the call of Porto and the North of Portugal and find out the best experience for you here: https://feelthecall.pt/
